These beautiful girls don't need an introduction! I saw them one short week ago and they have changed so much already. I can resist sharing all of my FAVES with you...I couldn't choose :) These photos were the very FIRST to be taken in my studio.

I'm so excited to announce the birth of twin girls, Hayley and Chelsey! I've been waiting to photograph these beautiful babies for some time now and am so honored that Cara and Eric chose me as their photographer. I also met big sister Lyla, who is such a little doll baby. Full of personality and beauty. She is going to be a fantastic big sis!! Enjoy the sneak peak of round one. Oh yes, the twins are coming over to my home studio to take more pics (hopefully together this time, haha).

{Reach For Your Dreams}

I'm doing it. I'm taking the plunge. I'm already married, so what plunge am I mentioning? DESIGNING & OPENING AN IN-HOME STUDIO!!!! I can hardly restrain from screaming out loud with joy! I have to keep it quiet. My 10 week old is sleeping in the next room, hubby and 19 month old are passed out in Bug's big boy bed, just a hop and a skip away. Man. I did however, tell my two yorkie pups. I snapped a quick shot to show you their overwhelming response to my announcement. After I took their picture, they licked the camera lens. Ha!

Hey, I'll take it!

Suite 1730 is what I'll be referring to whenever I mention my fabulous studio. I'm going to be working on blue-prints and design ideas (I love to doodle and draw in my spare time which is scare right now) and will post pics as they develop. But for now, I'll walk you through my thoughts and design ideas.

A sneak peak of what's to come...

You pull up to my house, beautiful red front door and a seating area on the porch with a big welcome sign awaiting you. You enter a beautiful Tuscan-inspired smooth tile foyer and are greeted with a warm, pumpkin spice smell (this will change seasonally of course). You enter my living room and dining room only to find a lavish, luxurious bedroom suite, seating area, flat screen tv, a fabulous over-sized brick fireplace, white sheer drapery every where you look, with different patterns and textures on the walls. There's a beautiful chandelier hanging above a very comfy bed and luxurious colored drapes on both sides of both very large windows. The natural light shines beautifully onto the restored hardwood floors. This area will be designed specifically for boudoir photo shoots, but may serve as an amazing background for maternity, family and children photos as well!

Walk through the extended hallway. The first room on your left will be my office. Clients will gather here to fill out paperwork, preview their images, order images, etc. You'll find tons of product options hanging on my walls and on my bookshelves. Everything is at your disposal! You'll be offered a refreshment and snack of course! Soft music will be playing in the background.

Walking back down the hallway, the second door on your left is the bathroom. Large, cottage style bathroom. No photos will be taken here. Simply used for what it's supposed to be used for! :)

The hallway is filled with my personal family photography. I have to show my babies off!

At the end of the hallway, turn right and you will be entering my large newborn & children room. Beautiful hardwood floors, 2 large windows, beautiful furniture fit for little ones, newborn props, toddler props, several background options (like my fabulous black and white fabric wall). I'll even have "tot boxes" - a pink one for girls and a blue one for boys. Just wait until you see these! Your child will have so much fun in this room, guaranteed.

Another great thing about me opening my own studio is discounted rates! My goal is to make custom photography simple and affordable. I offer 5 lifestyle sessions, 4 with built-in payment plans! Why go to a cookie-cutter studio when you can get a real, a fun and a laid-back, extremely personal experience in my studio, with me as your photographer?!

I also offer private boudoir sessions and boudoir parties for up to 7 ladies at a time.

2 Months Old {Studio}

My baby girl is now 2 months old and such a beautiful soul. She giggles and blows spit bubbles. She sits up in her bumbo chair for 3 minutes without wiggling. She grasps her toys and talks to them and Mommy. She has been rolling over from belly to back since she was 2 weeks old and does it much faster now. Millie loves tummy time and holds herself up very well. She loves her big brother Carson, Mommy and Daddy and gets so excited when she locks those beautiful brown eyes on us. We adore her and can't believe how much she has changed in just one month.

The best thing about being a photographer is getting to document every single month from birth to 12 months, then every other month until she is 2 years old. One Month Old

Already!  Time. It goes by entirely TOO fast.  My little ladybug is now a month old and is a super-girl.  She started rolling from belly to back (she's able to roll to both sides too) at only 2 weeks old.  She holds her head up by herself almost all the time. She is so alert and follows us with her beautiful brown eyes, around the room.  She coos and giggles out loud ALL the time.  She is so fun! Big brother, mommy and daddy kiss her face off and give her lots of hugs.  She loves to sleep and that would be perfect if she only could get her days and nights right. She is starting to be awake more during the day, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she gets them right soon.  Ha! 

Here she is at one month old.  And I will warn you now, you're going to be seeing lots and lots of photographs of my family in this blog. I just can't help it!  I love them so much :)

Introducing My Daughter

My little Ladybug! 8 pounds 7 ounces and 19.5 inches long. She gave me and her daddy quite a scare in labor and delivery. My amazing doctor saved the day and within 20 minutes she was finally ready to meet us! Hubby, Bug and I fell in love immediately. She was perfect. So tiny, yet so alert and strong! Little stinker was already holding her head up. I had been planning her newborn session, my very first newborn session, for months. I purchased cute little hats and diapers and was all ready to go. When she turned 6 days old I took her photos. Here she is...
