“How do you do it?”
“But you have two babies!”
“I’m thinking of starting a photography business but am afraid I can’t fit it into my already full schedule. Could you share your schedule with me?”
6a-7a: Exercise/Train for Half Marathon in May
7a-10a: Morning Routine and any family appointments we may have
10a-11a: Family Nap Time. Yes, I do take a nap and it feels GREAT!
11a-Noon: Blog Time!
Noon-3p: Lunch Routine Playtime/Park/Shopping/Play Group
3p-5p: Babies nap. I email clients, work in the office and work on client orders
5p-6:30p: Love on my handsome husband and Dinner Routine
630-7p: Exercise/Train for Half Marathon/Zumba w/ Tami
7p-8p: Brandis Time. Usually a long hot shower and a glass of wine to relax
8p-10p: Family Time. I’m such a Reality Show Junkie, so we’re probably sitting on the floor, playing with the babies til 9p, then canoodling on the couch til 10p.
10p-Midnight: Photo Editing and LOTS of it. If by chance I’m don’t have photos to edit, I’m emailing/face book stalking my friends.
This is my schedule throughout the week. The weekends I’m hopefully behind the camera, out and about with my family or visiting with friends. I do not do any proofing/editing on the weekends. That’s what the work week is for. :)
Hopefully this helped a few of you aspiring photographers out there to fit everything and anything you want into your lifestyle. You can do it all!!! Just remember to take it one day at a time, make a detailed To-Do List for the day and then go for it.
And because a blog is ALWAYS better with photos, here are a few details from my first Pretty in Pink Party! And don’t you worry, I have SEVERAL blog entries coming soon to show you sneak peaks of all the beautiful girls and women who participated in the event…Happy Monday to my readers (if I have any out there…ha!)
Millie, my Beautiful Daughter, all ready to help me with Paige's Pretty in Pink Session! She was my little assistant.
I had lots of candy - jellybeans in martini glasses - bubble gum, sparkling grape juice, chocolate covered oreo cookies and mozarts desserts for the girls. Pretty in pink, red and white.
